About Meadow Lodge and Us
Meadow Lodge is a tranquil haven with a light-filled lounge, well equipped galley kitchen, modern bathroom and a restful double bedroom. The lodge is surrounded by gardens and has beautiful views over the valley. The sea is a few miles away so we often get sea breezes. We have many returning guests who have found their stay to be rejuvenating as the pressures of modern life seem very far away here.
Julia is an award winning film producer and writer. Mark works as an environmental consultant and is a very keen birdwatcher who also studies moths and butterflies. The couple live in the main house and are charming, attentive hosts.

“I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Meadow Lodge. It’s warm, cosy, extremely comfortable and well equipped – everything has been thought of! The location is perfect for exploring the South Hams. It’s tranquil, with magical views and surrounded by wildlife. Highly recommended.”
“A beautiful property in a gorgeous location. Mark the host was great, after learning we were delayed due to problems on the route down due to flooding, he had switched on lights and heating and was waiting for us to help us unload and move in. The property is a wonderful place to chill and relax, which we did with everything to hand. The pheasants visited daily, and whilst we had rain every day we left relaxed”
